This edition contains the metrical English life of Saint Brendan in Middle English, along with a prose life: Saynt Brandon, the holy man, was a monke, and borne in Yrlonde, and there he was an abbot of an hous wherein were a thousand monkes... As you can see, it is quite readable! The prose life begins on p. 35.
